Chris Hawley

Chris has been actively involved in the real estate and land brokerage industry for over three decades. His deep appreciation for nature and the great outdoors propelled him and co-founder, Toxey Haas, to create a unique network of real estate offices with the same values. He serves as the CEO and President of Mossy Oak Properties. Prior to this, Hawley owned his own real estate company, Hawley Land and Timber Company, which was an Alabama corporation. Today, he serves as President and responsible broker for Mossy Oak Properties-Mossy Oak Land and Timber, Inc., in Livingston, Alabama. From 1988 to 1996, Hawley was Area Investment Manager for Equitable Agri-Business, a division of The Equitable Company. Prior to his employment with Equitable Agri-Business, he worked for Farm Credit Services in Demopolis, Alabama. Chris and his wife, Peggy, live in Livingston and have two sons, David and Hunter, and four grandsons.
