John Nickles

John was born and raised in Fort Bend County where he grew up hunting and fishing throughout the coastal bend and South Texas. If he wasn’t in a deer stand or a baseball dugout, he was helping his grandfather at the ranch in Throckmorton, TX.

John graduated from Oklahoma State University and has worked as a Petroleum Landman for the last 13 years throughout Texas and Oklahoma specializing in mineral rights. John and his wife Katie live in Rockwall, TX with their daughters Emma and Charlotte and their black lab Gus. The Nickles family is very active in Lakepointe Church, Rockwall Youth Athletics, and Rockwall County Ducks Unlimited.
